Penrite Oil Honda Racing Team’s Troy Herfoss will compete against the world’s best when he lines up with a wildcard entry in World Superbikes at the 2018 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship, Yamaha Finance round at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, February 23-25
“I’ve been waiting a long time to challenge myself against the best in the world. It is something I’ve dreamt about since I was a young fella. I’m just so excited, I can’t really explain it in a short interview how excited I am!
We’re ticking boxes and we are testing ourselves against the best in the world, I believe I’ve got a bit in me for the next few years and the expectations aren’t anywhere in particular, I just want to see where I fit.
Doing both ASBK and WorldSBK at Phillip Island is only an advantage as it is not a super physical track when the bikes working okay. The extra track time will help me.
It is going to be a great experience to be on track with the best in the world!”
Said Herfoss.
