Remy Gardner fastest at Cremona Test!

WorldSBK By May 27, 2024 May 29th, 2024

Australian star Remy Gardner builds confidence this season with a successful first test at the Cremona Circuit in northern Italy.

Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) achieved top spot in testing for the first time at the Cremona Circuit, before the Championship returns 20-22 September later this year for round 10.
In the afternoon session, Gardner surged to the top of the combined times, becoming one of only two competitors to dip below the 1’29 mark. Andrea Locatelli (Pata Prometeon Yamaha) joined Gardner in achieving this feat and the remaining top five spots were secured by Ducati riders Michael Ruben Rinaldi (Team Motocorsa Racing), Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team), and Scott Redding (Bonovo Action BMW).
This speed, confidence and positive result comes after a stellar performance at the TT Assen Circuit last month, achieving a long awaited first podium in WSBK. Results and speed seem to be building for the Australian as we now approach the next round at Misano, Pirelli Emilia-Romagna on 14-16 June for Round 04 of this exciting 2024 Superbike World Championship season!
Remy currently sits 8th in the championship with 9 rounds remaining.
Stay tuned for the excitement and follow Remy and all of our Aussies battling across categories including Oli Bayliss, Tom Edwards, Luke Power, Cameron Swain and Tayla Relph in the inaugural WorldWCR World Championship.
